I was feeling particulary at peace when I took this. I had walked east from Plymouth, England to a beach near a village called Bovisand. I had the whole beach to myself and sat on a rock reading a book called 'Celestine Prophecy' introduced to me by a dear friend who's company I was missing because they were on holiday. Because of our differences, I fear I've since lost this friend forever so this picture makes me feel a little sad and reflective just now. I'm proud of my imaginitive framing though! Sorry it's low-res; it was taken at 1 M pixels on my cameraphone.
Truly love this shot. Beautiful. I too, hope your friend and you have worked things out by now.
My mother's family was from Plymouth. I hope to go there one day, but for now, i enjoy looking from afar, by viewing work such as yours. Thank you for that pleasure.
I like this picture very much, Sad story though. Hope you'll manage to work it out. I've had some rows with an old and dear friend and we had several years of not-speaking-with-each-other, but somehow we've always come together again

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
